Maple is mamma to the "Cookie" litter. She is 2-1/2 years old and also form the Breeder release group.

She has/had many of the same behaviors as the others, but due to the rapid delivery of her puppies, she got a "crash course" in trusting us. She quickly mastered stairs and doorways out of necessity. She has since gotten comfortable with being leashed and walking on a leash, though she will still spin around you to find her spot. She has learned the "touch" command, and sits nice for treats. She rarely "pancakes" anymore, but you can still tell she is timid when we approach.

Other than the first day or two after delivery, she has had no more accidents in the house, and she is being an amazing mamma.

She will not be ready for adoption until a month or so after the puppies are weaned and she is spayed. In the mean time we will continue to work on building her confidence. She is going to be an amazing family member, when the time comes.
