Sam is a gentle, well-behaved, older yellow Lab, who starts wagging his tail as soon as his eyes open in the morning. He's a very social guy who loves to go for short walks and car rides. Sam walks nicely on a leash and starts wagging his tail when he sees people or other dogs. When his walk is finished he waits by the front door for you to take off his leash He is content to lie quietly in whatever room you are in. His manners are impeccable. Sam has arthritis in his hips and his front elbows which causes him to have a right front leg limp for which he is receiving herbal supplements and water therapy. You'd never know Sam has any discomfort because he is always happy and wagging his tail. He needs more therapy to help him gain more strength/muscle in his rear legs to help him return him to a normal gait without a limp. If you are interested in meeting Sam and have already been approved to adopt, please email our LabMatch Committee. If you haven't yet been approved to adopt, please complete an on-line application and mention your interest in Sam. Please consider helping with Sam's therapy costs by sponsoring him. He is a sweet, sweet boy who will make someone a good companion and an excellent pet.
