UPDATE!!! I am still doing really well, I do cough from time to time but I am still strong and not showing any other signs of illness. I am still looking for someone to give me a home for the time I have left. There is no adoption fee for me and LEARN will continue to pay for the medication I am on. My name is Riley, and I am part of the Retrievers and Redemption program. I am 7 years old and am very handsome! I am a sweet boy who just wants to be with you, chew on some bones and play with toys. I was originally adopted in 2015 but was recently surrendered back because my family wasn't able to take care of me anymore. So I am looking for a new forever home. I came back to rescue with a cough. So my foster family took me to the Vet who discovered I have a couple of masses in my chest which they think are cancer. Based on where they are located we are going to leave them alone. I will be going to the UW Vet School to get some biopsy's done to determine exactly what the bumps are so we can treat them and the symptoms they cause in the best way possible. But for right now, neither you nor especially I would never know there was a problem. I don't act like I have anything wrong other than a cough. I don't know how much time I have left but I am hoping that someone would like to give me a home for the last bit of time I have. LEARN is willing to help with continued care/costs. Most of all, I would like to be with people who love me and will care for me until its time to let me go. (I am on a special diet and supplements to help slow down the cancer.)
