*** Update Nov 24th - What a difference a week makes!  Sam can now actually play with other dogs and is happy and wagging his tail. He has met several new dogs in the past week and acts totally normal. Today he met a new dog and was playing with him within minutes. Yahoo!***

Sam is extremely overweight, but that can be remedied! He does not seem comfortable meeting new dogs and will snap at them, but my dogs mostly ignore him, and he is fine with them.  He likes to go for walks with them and lets them come near him now that he knows them. I think the previous owner had a cat or 2.  So he would probably be fine with them.  He does not like dogs or puppies sniffing at him or coming up to his face when I am holding him.
