08.28.2015:  I went for a behavioral assessment, and great news; I get to go to a training class!  It will start on Wednesday, September 9th, 2015, and I am so excited!  The class will help me learn some new things, and I'd like you to learn them with me - just let my foster mom and dad know!  I have been working on 'waiting'...waiting for my food bowl, to go outside, for treats...Sometimes I think my foster brother gets a little bored when they make me wait so long...but I am doing it!

08.24.2015:  I am having so much fun with my foster family...I have gotten into a routine and almost have it mastered!  I love to play with my foster brother (Zeus), and we get along pretty well...but boy do I really like to play!

House-training:  I am doing AWESOME!!  My foster mom and dad are thinking I mastered it!

Food:  I'm using my slow eating bowl because the swirls help me...otherwise, I eat too fast, and then I don't feel very good.  On the other hand, my ribs are starting to go away!

Counters:  Yup, I learned what those were...I even ate a half of a pan of bars thinking my foster mom wouldn't notice!  But boy was I wrong...

Kids:  I really like the older kids - especially because they re-enforce what my foster mom and dad are teaching me to do!

Out for some catch!  Talk again soon!

08.01.2015:  Hi...I am Derby!  I was found as a stray and am currently living in a foster home...but looking for a forever home.  Could you be it?

I LOVE playing with my pull rope and pleasing you...I also look out for my foster family's house...if a rabbit bounces by I will definitely let you know it!

House-training - I am working on it and almost have this skill mastered!

Food - I originally came to my foster family's house territorial...but have come to know 'my bowl' and wait patiently for my foster mom and dad to put it down for me...

Counters - I don't even know what those are...

Kids - They are fun to play with; but my foster siblings are 10 and up...so I am not too sure about the little ones...

I am active, and I want to learn and please you...so what do you think?  Could you be my new family?
