I am so happy to say that it has been over 4 weeks since Eire has had an anxiety poop or potty in the house! He has settled in well and realizes that we are coming back home! There is a chance that Eire may have some anxiety in the beginning at a new home while he adjusts, but I am confident that with some patience and short times alone, Eire will once again feel safe and secure and will know that his family won't be gone for long.
Eire does not need to be crated while gone or sleeping. He is great dog and loves to be with people. His favorite things to do are daily walks, rides in the car, and chewing on his cow hoof. Eire will need to be on a certain food and supplements to help manage his allergies, but it is pretty easy to follow. If you are looking for an affectionate buddy that is easy going and easy to please, ask for Eire!

Hi folks! My name is Eire, and I'm having so much fun at my foster home. I came to L.E.A.R.N. with bad allergies....I believe that's what they call it. I had an ear infection and couldn't stop scratching and biting myself! I was on some medication for awhile that I finally finished! Good thing cause I did not like the pills! My foster mom says that I was on icky food which contributed to my ear infection and itchy skin. So she gave me some yummy, new food and supplement stuff, and I am improving!! I will need to stay on a diet of a no grain, high quality food, none of that grocery store so called grain-free junk, but really good, grain-free dog food. It is also suggested that I be given supplements to help with the allergies. The good food and good supplements will avoid costly vet bills and costly medicine that I don't like!
I'm an overall fun loving, 6 year old, male Lab who loves people and gets along with everyone, dogs, and cats. I do have a bit of a problem with being alone for too long. My foster mom says it is separation anxiety. I don't mean to, but I will sometimes poop in the house. I just get nervous and don't know if you will be back. My perfect home would be a place where I have another dog or cat to hang with and you are home most of the time, or I can be with most of the day.
If you think you might be interested in meeting/adopting Eire please fill out an adoption application and have a home visit first. – If you have already done these things then you can email L.E.A.R.N. and let them know you would like to be on her potential family list.
