Stop the Madness – Operation Peanut's Promise Zach is on hold…
Zach is transforming into a real Labrador amazingly fast. He still turns into a quaking statue when experiencing something new, BUT he recovers much quicker than before. He is very snuggly. He likes to retrieve, doesn't jump on people, and walks very politely on the leash. He jumps into the car and rides quietly. I think his ugly gross parasites are gone, and we are starting to work on training this week to see if we can get over that last hump of fear.

Zach is transformed into a shiny, handsome Labrador. I guess he was just waiting for his moment. He loves to play, has a soft mouth and is not at all food aggressive or any kind of aggressive. I love this dog but it is time for him to have his own family. stay tuned for updated pics/video.

1/16/15 These are handsome older boys (Zach & Pushkin). Physical health--Lymes and Lungworm (ugh!). Titers done for Distemper, and both visited Harris Pet Hospital for "tutoring" on Tuesday.
Mental health . . .they are kind of a mess. Terrified. Just paralyzed. They only eat if I turn my back, which is heartbreaking. They do everything they can to stay under the radar. So unlike a Labrador! However, they are perfectly clean as far as housetraining goes and also walk politely on a leash, and jump in my van like they've done it every day. Luckily for these dogs, I am very patient and the LEARN team is behind them. I know there is a happy, playful dog in there. Stay tuned.
