Hello Folks......What are you waiting for??  Why haven't you called on me??  I know my age may scare you, but just think . . .  no potty training, no need to put me in a crate, no counter surfing, no jumping on people...need I say more?! I may be 10, but I love to go on walks. So I am not a couch potato. I do settle in very well once our walk is done. So what are you waiting for? . . .  That perfect dog? . . Well, that's me! 

 

Holidays Greetings from Sam.....
I'm a 10 year old, purebred Chocolate Lab. My owner surrendered me with my friend, a 3 year old female black Lab mix. She was sort of bossy and pushed me around a lot.  So I like my 2 foster siblings who leave me alone for the most part. No one can believe I'm 10 because of my energy level, and I only have a little bit of grey on my muzzle. Walks are the best. I LOVE WALKS!!!!

A house without a lot of stairs would be great for me because I have some muscle loss in my hind end that makes for a tough time going up and down stairs, but I can do it.  My foster mom is giving me Glucosamine joint support supplements to make me more comfortable.  I'm a little chubby too, so we're working on that because a little weight loss will help a lot. I have a fatty tumor on my side called a Lipoma, but the Vet tested it, and she said it’s just one of those dog lumps. Other than that, the Vet said I'm healthy as a horse.

I am housebroken, and my foster Mom thinks I am a good boy that I can be left alone. I LOVE NAPS TOO! I sleep on a nice, soft dog bed in my foster parents' bedroom, and I'm very quiet and sleep through the night.

I love everyone and everything. I am a quiet LOVE BUG! I like people, kids, dogs, and I even lived with a cat. My foster Mom thinks I would be best in a home without little kids. Even though I love everyone, little kids sometimes can stumble on my back end and hurt me.

I would love to be in my forever home this Christmas!! Is that you??
