Hello Labbie Lovers!!!

UPDATE: I wanted to give you an update on me. I have been in my foster parents house for 2 months now.  (I know this because the baby will turn a year old at the end of October, and her parents are getting ready for her big birthday party!!). I enjoy running outside with my throw toy and bringing it back to you and putting it in your hand. I will sit pretty until you throw it again for me. Please do not let my age scare you; as I said before, I am an active senior. You would think I was 5 years old!!  I think the Boniva and Activia helps...;) If it's good enough for Jamie Lee Curtis, it's good enough for me!!

I would make any family a perfect pet. I do not get into things, I am potty trained, and I even let anyone crawl over me, especially young children!! I would love to spend every day with your family, if you give me that chance!!

My name is Dixie, and I am a 9 year young chocolate female. I am an owner surrender whose family had an allergy issue to me. I am an active senior who loves to play catch with either a ball or my bumper. My foster parents have to be mindful of overexerting me to the point where I have a hard time walking. A good 10 minutes of me chasing the ball only leaves me wanting more for the next time!!

I currently live with two other four-legged foster dogs (7 year old and a 12 year old) who I get along with. I also live with two cats that I do not bother either. One great thing about my foster parents' house is this little thing called a baby (9 months) that crawls all over me. I previously lived with toddlers, so this baby thing is no big deal to me.

I am very quiet in the house, except when people are outside or you leave the house without me, then you will hear my voice. My foster parents do not think I am a constant barker when they leave the house. I have the freedom to explore the house day and night, and I do not need a kennel to stay in when everyone leaves. I have a dog bed that I sleep on at night (sometimes I sleep on the 12 year old’s bed).

If you would like to know more about me, please give LEARN a call!!!

Lots of labbie kisses!!

Dixie
