Summer 2014 - Update

As you saw in my video I love my swimming pool and doing somersaults. I am really enjoying this summer and have had a chance to be in the pool several times a week. Sometimes I just stand in there because it feels so good.

My foster Mom switched my food and now I am getting a really nice coat of fur. It had been kind of all sticking up and puffy but now it is really dark chocolate and looks more Labbie.

Well that is all for now. I am going to an event soon so maybe I will get to meet you.

 

Update 2014 - Sassy was returned to L.E.A.R.N. because her adopter developed some health issues and was no longer able to care for her.

A note from Sassy: So it has been a year since you have heard from me.  I am now 12 yrs. old but don't let that scare you away.  I still have lots of love to share. I am living with two other dogs and a cat and really like their company. I am happy to just hang out with you wherever you are. I enjoy being outside watching you work in the yard or sitting by the fire. I love going for car rides and walks. One of my most favorite things to do is to snuggle with you at night, and, if you let me, I like to share your pillow with you.

I would love to find a family that will love me through my senior years. Please consider adding me as a new family member to you home. You won't regret it.

My name is Sassy, I am an eleven year old chocolate Lab who was surrendered to L.E.A.R.N. because my owners had allergies.  Don't let my age fool you; I have lots of love to give and am very healthy.  I love to hang out with the family and spend time outside sniffing around.  

I would do best with a family that has a fence or is committed to keeping me on a leash as I like to wander off.
