Hi my name is Beau.  I am a beau-tiful black Lab, about 7 years old.  I was found living on my own in Southern Illinois.  I was probably an outdoor dog; I like to run around the back yard here at my foster home and sniff for rabbits.  I am good with my senior foster sister (dog), always gentle.  I am good with the cat, too.  I would like my next home to have a large fenced in yard to play, and someone to spend a lot of time with me.  I love to just lie at the feet of my foster parents and enjoy this new life.  I am not much of a barker, but I do "speak" when it is time to eat!  I like to ride in the car and am a pretty good walker on the leash.  If you would like to take me to training classes, I might even like being a therapy dog.
