PENDING ADOPTION

Hi, my name is Bessie! I’m 7 year old female.  My family decided to give me to LEARN because I had heartworm, and they could not afford the treatment. LEARN was happy to take care of my medical needs and find a new home for me.  I have some minor allergies which make my paws itch and an ear infection that is also being treated.  Although I don’t like the drops in my ears, they make me feel better. I’m very well-behaved and friendly.  I have never met a human that I didn’t like.  I’m also extremely quiet; Dad wonders if I can bark as he has never heard me.  He’s a goof; he tries to make me bark by barking at me.  My activity level is fairly low; I only need a short walk or a run around the yard.  Food and a pet or a belly rub are my favorite things. If you wish to adopt me please contact the wonderful volunteers from LEARN.  In return, I promise you companionship and unconditional love. I do have one request; please bring me to Pawgust fest in August. Woof, woof!
