12/1/12 – Hi Dodger here . . . I wanted to give you all an update and let you know that I’m doing great at my foster home. But I sure would love to get a new ‘furever’ home for Christmas! My foster mom said it would be a good idea to let everyone know how great I am! I’m not used to tooting my own horn, but here goes! While I am an older gent, I am young at heart and act like I’m only about 5. I just LOVE to go for walks and boy am I lucky cause foster mom takes me every day for at least a two mile walk! Being a lab, I do have a passion for fetching! And, I’ll try to get you to play with me on a regular basis. I am rather curious about those critters called squirrels in the yard; so I may not be so good with cats. But I absolutely love all people. Course, I am going to try to get you to play with me ;) My foster mom mentioned that I have a bit of separation anxiety in her previous write-up. I have gotten way better with that at my foster home. You see I’ve had a bit of a tough life and just get scared that I’m getting left again. But, once I learn to trust you, I am pretty darn good about that! So any way, I’m hoping there is a family out there for me that will give me the forever home I so very much deserve. I am wishing so very hard for that for Christmas. Maybe I should write Santa another note . . . hmmmm. Labby Kisses - Dodger ********************************************************** Dodger loves meeting and being with people. He loves going on his morning walks and playing fetch. He will often toss you his toy or ball to say “Game On?” He does have some separation anxiety and therefore needs to be crated when you are gone for his safety.
