Hi Everyone Riley here.... I'm a 1 year old yellow hunky male, Mom says I weigh 78 pds, and I have beautiful form. My foster Parents, say my job tittle should be "Kisser" & "Lover", I'll do whatever you ask-I love everyone I meet, and I like to kiss you on your nose, when I first meet you. Mom says I'm listening well. I stay when Mom opens the door and come when called in the fenced yard. I settle nicely at night and have been sleeping in the bedroom of their youngest son. I love the small dogs in the house and get along with them. NO cats here, so I don't know what to say about that. I like toys but destroy most. I like playing fetch, but when you're done-I'm ok with that too. Nothing really seems too bother me. Working on a few manners, when kissing sometimes I get so excited I kiss with my teeth, which Mom says isn't too pleasant. So stop back later for more info as I settle in abit more.....Oh also, Mom says a basic obedience class wouldn't hurt... UPDATE:4/24/12 Riley had a bit of a bump in the road shortly after hecame into our home. About 3 days into his stay he became quiet ill with a snotty nose, sneezing and coughing….still eating and drinking a day or two into the illness. We did a visit to the Vet just to have him checked. Mid-week he had stopped eating, and the meds were not helping. That evening he stopped drinking and was loosing weight fast and just not improving. Another trip to the Vet that Friday revealed he was dehydrated. We decided on further blood work to help rule out any diseases. On that Friday, he went to the Emergency clinic where an X-ray diagnoised Pneumonia. He was one sick dog and got that way fast. He was admitted- IV’s for dehydration, new stronger meds, and nebulizer treatments…it was touch and go the first 24hrs. He finally started coming around, first drinking, then finally eating. (LEARN does a fabulous job caring for the dogs that come into their care PLEASE help to off set Riley’s medical cost by donating today.)
