RIP Tucker
For 13 years we have been blessed with so wonderful memories.. morning kisses, countless hours of snuggles (Tucker is voted the most snuggly dog we have ever known), playing with us, chasing squirrels and tennis balls, swimming at the cabin. When Tucker met my adopted niece when she came to our house for the first time, he could not stop licking her all over. I think he felt she needed to feel loved. We still talk about that day and how quickly they formed a bond. When one of our diabetic daughters went to sleep and had a dangerously low blood sugar (unaware to us), Tucker did not leave her side (literally laid on top of her) until we tracked him down in the house. We are sure he saved her life that day,
Today is a very, very sad day for us as we helped Tucker cross over the Rainbow Bridge. What an amazing life for a 14 1/2 year old labbie. He gave us so much unconditional love-and boy did we love him back! We hope someday in the future we can find another special dog to adopt through your program.
I was wondering if you could post this picture under Tucker’s success story.. and you can share this story as well. Also I was hoping to find the address of the foster family so I could send them a note. If you still have their address would you be able to email it to me?
Thank you again for all the work you do saving so many labs and helping families find their best friend!!
If you can’t open the picture I try to send it another way.
Thank you again.. our hearts are broken but Tucker will forever be in our hearts |
