November 2nd! I will be at the Badger Kennel Club expo at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison WI from 10-4. If you are in the area come and meet me! Update October: Just wanted to show off a couple new pictures of me and let you know that I am still here waiting for my forever home. I am up to about 5 hours now that I can be alone . . . so I am doing really well with that. You realize that is my only real issue, right? Remember, I was shuffled around a lot before coming to L.E.A.R.N. So, it's taken me awhile to get some security back. I know lots of commands and obey "stay" like no one else. I love to just hang out in the room with you and be your pal but I also enjoy going for a walk and smelling all the good things that there are in the world. Even if you just want to find out more about me, contact L.E.A.R.N. Not that I mind being where I am, but I really would like a home to call my own. Could that be with you? July: Hi! I wanted to give you an update on me, I am now able to be alone 2-3 hours with no issues. I am also really enjoying my new job. I am the official garden dog! I hang out there most of the day, lounging in the sun or taking a nap in the shade of a tree. I really enjoy just hanging out while the humans work in the garden. Well, that is all I have for now . . . but I did add a new picture of me with my handsome bandana on. :-) June: I just added a couple pictures from the Mound's Dog Fest where the local zoo dressed me up as a zebra. Aren't I cute?! :) I am still working on being left alone but LEARN is going to bring someone in to help me with that so don't worry, I will be ready for my forever home before you know it. Keep checking back and I will keep you posted. April: Hi There! My name is Dusty, and I am a pretty special guy. I love everyone! I am 8 years old and I know how to sit, lie down and come when called. So I have my basic manners already, but I am a pretty smart guy and could learn even more. We could go to class together and learn! Before coming to LEARN I was living with a family, and when situations changed I ended up having some separation issues (which I am still working on) and discovered that being in a crate isn't for me. When put in a crate I tried to dig my way out. Doing this cut up my face and feet, but as you can see I am all healed up and cute as can be! I love belly rubs and spending time with people. I like to ride in the car and stick my head out the window and show my teeth while my lips are flapping in the wind. It's like one huge smile!
