1/9/23 Hey everybody, I’m Bella. I am about 5 years old, I have classic lab good looks and shiny, luxurious black fur. I have been with my foster family for almost a week and I got comfortable here very quickly. I have a doggie brother and a doggie sister and we get along well. Sometimes my brother gets grumpy and growls at me, but I just give him space and he settles down. I love my people the most. I love getting pets and snuggles from everybody and I love meeting new people too. I lived with 2 cats and some other farm animals in my previous home and I got along with all of them. I just ignored the cats because they’re weird. There were some kids in my previous home too, and they were the best. When my family is gone I get to sleep and go wherever I want to in the house. They are impressed that I never get into anything and never go potty in the house…I mean, why would I go potty in the house? I’m a proper lady! I love to snuggle and like to be on the couch and in the bed with my people. I am happy sleeping on the floor at night too, but I do prefer to be in the same room. Going for walks in the neighborhood or hikes in the woods is a fun activity, which is a good thing because my new year’s resolution is to slim down. I’m about 85 pounds right now but I want to be down to 60 by summer time so I can look my best at the beach. I like riding in the car too, and if my people go into a store I just sit quietly and look out the window or I take a little snooze if they’re gone for a while. I am usually pretty quiet when I sleep but sometimes I snore. My family thinks it’s super cute but hopefully when I’m at my goal weight I will not snore. My family says I am a 10 out of 10 on cuteness and affection and a 3 out of 10 on energy. I took my dad for a 5 mile hike in the snow yesterday because he is trying to slim down too. He was pretty tired after that so we took a nap, but I could have kept going. Today I think we are going to nap all day, and I will be just as happy doing that.
