Hi, my name is Jax. I have been with my foster family since 12/12/23. I adjust very quickly to new people, places, and pets. I love getting to know my foster family and have also been meeting lots of new people as we have been hosting many family members, including pets, for the holidays. My foster family is a couple with grown kids who come around often and a large extended family that includes kids. There is also a female dog and cat in my foster home. I get along great with everyone and like being part of the family.

I am house trained and know basic commands like sit, down, and no. I am working on my manners, as is expected for a 10-month old lab. I am also crate trained. I go in my crate when my foster parents go to work a couple days a week. I also go in there when I need a break from lots of active holiday celebrations. I love to snuggle and like to be on the couch and in my foster parents bed for affection, when invited. I sleep on a dog bed in my foster parents room and do a great job letting them stay in bed as long as they want.

I like to spend time outside playing with my dog sister and fetching any toys that are thrown to me. I love to play with toys like nylabones and stuffies with my dog sister. As a lab, I like mealtime but am very patient and respectful. I eat right next to my dog sister and have shown no food aggression. I must be goofy because I make people laugh a lot with my silliness. I also like to spend a lot of time sleeping - I'm a bit lazy.

I am healthy, sweet, affectionate, energetic, and lazy. I am ready to find my forever home but need to wait until after I am neutered on 1/2/2024. If you like affection, keeping me active, and giggling at my goofiness I would love to be part of your family.
