Hello!

My name is Harley, and I came to L.E.A.R.N. after being surrendered to a shelter in Illinois due to my owner's health. I really loved my owner and home, and can't wait to find that same love and comfort in the future. 

My foster mom says I'm a big boy and we need to work on my "summer body". She has taken me on walks and says I'm a great walker. I don’t pull and if we pass a person or another dog, I glance over out of curiosity but otherwise follow my foster mom’s lead.

I have a lab brother at my foster home. He was a great tour guide when I arrived. I love following his lead, play when he plays and leave him alone when we just want to relax. I was raised in a house with other dogs, so I get along with my four-legged (and two-legged) siblings very well!

I just went to the vet and she said I am healthy, except for a little thing called an ear infection, but L.E.A.R.N. is helping to treat that.

I have a lot more love and life to give and hope you’ll open your heart and home to me for the better half of my life. In return, I’ll give you complete loyalty, love and puppy eyes that will melt your heart.
