Hello, I'm Steve. I came from Arkansas back on July 17 and have been settling into a foster home. My rescuers don't know much about my history but its clear I didn't have the best care based signs of mal-nutrition, sores on my skin and being very nervous. None of my history has prevented me from being a lover of all things.  

I am really enjoying my foster family of 2 young kids, 2 cats and an older dog who has been showing me the ropes. I really want to snuggle my foster family all the time ... and by snuggle I mean sit on top of them and give plenty of kisses. 

I am working on putting on some weight because for 6 months old I am a little too small/skinny at 33 lbs. I do love to eat though so I'm sure I will be to a healthy weight in no time. 

I've recently been camping in Northern WI which was really cool. All the new places and people made me nervous at first but within a few hours I was loving it. When I first came to my foster family I wasn't sure what I was suppose to do on a leash but now I have the hang of it and go on hikes and walk like such a good boy.  While I bulk up here with my foster family I will continue to learn new manners while gratefully enjoying summer.
