4/1/19-UPDATE Hi; Bella here. I wanted everyone to know that my surgeries went great, and I'm ready to find my forever home! I love to go for walks even though I can only go for short ones for the next few weeks. The Vet said the surgeries went very well, and I should have a normal happy life. He did say so no agility or hunting for me. I love being with you and will follow wherever you go. I love to cuddle and tend to take up the whole bed if you let me. My foster mom says I'm a good girl and gives me lots of hugs and kisses. I love people and children. If your looking for a sweet girl to complete your family, I'm your girl. 2/20/19-UPDATE Hi, Bella's foster mom here. I wanted let everyone know that Bella is doing great. Her surgery on the left leg was a success, and she is moving much easier. The surgery on her right leg is scheduled for March 5th. We really need donations to help pay for the surgery and aftercare. ACL surgery is very expensive but so worth it for the dog to have a quality life. Bella is a young dog and deserves to be able to run and play like a Lab. Any donation would be helpful. Thank you, Bella's foster mom. 1/15/19-UPDATE Bella had surgery on her left leg on 1/12/19 which went very well. She gets her stitches removed in 2 weeks, and then therapy begins. Surgery for her right leg will be in approximately 7 weeks. I would like to thank everyone who has donated to Bella's surgeries. 12/28/18~~ON HOLD Hi! Bella here. I'm a 3 year old who was surrendered by my family because I have 2 torn ACL's that they couldn't afford to fix. They know I love to run and play and only wanted the best for me. So they asked LEARN if they could take and help me. I will have my first leg operated on in the middle of January and then my second leg 6 weeks later. So I'm not available for adoption yet. My foster mom wants you to know that I'm very sweet and goofy Lab mix . I love playing with my foster brother; we have become best buds. I'm housebroken and know my basic commands. I can't wait till my legs are fixed, and I get to meet my forever family. If you can help with Bella's upcoming medical expenses, it would be greatly appreciated.
