Hi everyone!  My name is Boomer, and I’m almost 8 yrs old. My foster mom always tells me how good I am and that I’m a very handsome and happy boy!

I went to see the Vet yesterday; she gave me an “A”!!  However, according to their scale, I weigh 89 lbs.  So I guess I have to lose 10 to 15 lbs.  Good thing I like the carrots and other fresh veggies for snacks.  

My foster parents take me for walks!  :-)  I pull a little too much; so I’m working on that.  I love chasing a tennis ball!  My foster dad throws it for me, and I bring it right back to him.  I’m good in the car.  I jump right in and hang out in the back. I know some commands: sit, down, come and shake :-).  I’m not a runner, and I haven’t tried jumping over their 4 foot fence.  I like to stay around my foster family.

There’s a dog crate in my foster home, but I’ve never been in it.  At night I sleep on my bed that’s in the bedroom with my foster parents. If they leave during the day, I just hang out with my stuffed toy. I'm a good boy; I don’t get into any trouble. 

I get along with everyone.  I used to live with older kids and 2 other dogs.  I haven’t met a cat yet, so I’m not sure if I like them. 

My foster mom says that I’m AKC registered whatever that means.
