Good News!  I'm not itchy anymore!  I am now eating Zignature dry food and limiting my treats to grain-free ones, and all the red itchy spots are gone, and I don't want to lick all the time either!  I am hopeful if I keep on this food and grain-free treats that I will continue to be itch-free. :-) 

Now I just need a forever home!!!!!   I am so sweet.  I love to play ball - I learned how to sit pretty, and if you tell me to stay and throw a ball, I will just sit there until you give me the go ahead to get it!  :-)  I am super smart!  Can I show off for you?  Come meet me!

Hello, I just wanted to give an update on me.  I am for sure a happy girl who loves to play.  I love my people and life in general.  The only thing I don't like is when I get itchy.  I tried a new food and a medicine, and I definitely felt better, but I still got spots on my tummy that itched.  So we are trying another food.  It seems to be making a difference. So hopefully I will be itch- free very soon.  

If you are willing to help me with my allergies, I am ready to meet my new family!  I have never lived in a home before, but I think that I will like it.  Could it be your home?

Hello Everyone!

My name is Trixie, and I am 6 years old.  I am part of the Retrievers and Redemption program and just came into L.E.A.R.N. at the end of July.  So I am not ready to meet families yet, but I wanted you to all know that I am here!

I was surrendered to my Vet when my original owner wanted to put me down because he didn't want an inside dog.  I was a hunting dog who lived outside in kennel with hay for bedding. And it made me so ITCHY!  (I even had to have a bit of my tail removed because I chewed it raw)

Now I am inside, and I really like it.  So far I have had only 1 accident (not bad for a girl who lived outside for 6 years).  Also, since starting on grain-free food my skin and coat are looking much better. (Maybe I can eat food with grain someday???)

I am a snuggly, cuddly, happy girl who is just looking for some love to give and receive. 

I will update you after I have been in Rescue for a bit, and I know the kind of perfect family I am looking for.
