ADOPTION PENDING 7/22/18
June 16 - Tate is a 7 year old purebred Bench (aka: English) Yellow Lab. He is an absolute love and is a ball fetching machine. He was found as a stray in March and ended up in the shelter. They said he was in pretty bad shape when he came in. He was all banged up, missing a good deal of hair, and had a bad ear infection. They put him on a no beef or chicken diet and cleaned his ears, and he looks gorgeous now. We have had him for a week, and he has proven himself to be housebroken and crate-trained. He is as sweet as can be and gets along very well with other dogs. He is living with my two male Labs and is great with them. He does like to humpty dumpty a little bit, but he's learning that is unacceptable behavior, and that has begun to stop. He LOVES water!!! I haven't taken him to the lake yet, but my guess is he will go absolutely crazy when he sees it. He even loves having a bath! He's good with kids in the neighborhood and greets everyone with a wagging tail. He has a pretty high prey drive with birds and squirrels, so we're not sure about cats. He is an easy going guy who will make a wonderful family dog for a lucky family.
