Hello Lovers of Labradors!! My name is Jade, and I am a 9 year old female Lab. I was surrendered by my dad who recently had an increase in travel for his work. I lived with him and a cat, but before he was divorced, I lived with young children. In my foster home I'm living with two children (ages 4 and 2), a cat and a dog. I get along great with everyone, but the cat seems to have a temper and scratches at me when he is hungry, but I just let it go. A few of my erroneous behaviors include: counter-surfing (you left it up there for me, correct?); going through the trash (you threw it out, so it is fair game); and litter-box binging (sandy treats are delicious!!). But my endearing qualities definitely outweigh the bad. For example, I am a gal who will lie by your feet when you are relaxing. I will toss the ball back to you when we play fetch. I can maneuver stairs without a hitch. I have a huge heart for any family, if you are willing to open your home to me. Finally, I love receiving pets and belly rubs. I currently live in a home with a fenced-in yard, although when I was surrendered by my previous owner, he let me walk around freely in a parking lot, and I did not run off. Maybe that was because I was with my daddy…well, former daddy. Now I am with a family who has opened their home to help me until I find my forever home. Could that be you?
