ADOPTION PENDING!!

Stop the Madness: Peanut's Holiday of Hope Labrador - Punkin

2/12/17 Punkin is doing great.  She plays with all my other dogs and is playing more with toys. She will take a toy and run laps with it now. She is able to be with me off leash on my property.  She is more confident with other people when she is visited by her future adoptive family and has gone on walks with them and their other dog.  Soon Punkin will be moving on to her new life with them but we will sure miss her sunny playful personality.

1/10/17 Spayed, vaccine titers positive for immunity.

1/4/17 Punkin is a lot less worried.  She likes to be in the house and runs to the door to come in whenever we are outside.  She socializes with all my other dogs both big and small and will run laps and tug on toys with my other young Labs.  She ignores my cats.  She is very gentle when taking food from my hand.

12/31/16 Punkin tested positive for Lyme and anaplasmosis exposure, but her blood work came back negative for infection so she does not need to be treated. She is heartworm negative.

12/24/16 Today she was off leash in my fenced yard for the first time. She is starting to be a pet dog instead of a feral dog! She ran and played in the snow with my other dogs. She played keep away with a fleece toy (but a little possessive so will watch that carefully).  When I called her she came to me and let me put the leash back on. :-)  She is eating kibble well and starting to drink more water. I am thrilled with her progress and happy my pack is helping her adjust. Vet appointment on Wednesday so will find out if she has Lyme, etc.
