Banana is a sweet boy and always wants to be with someone. He is very loving and seeks affection. Banana walks well on a leash and enjoys moderate exercise and playing with a ball. He seems to be very loyal and will follow the pack leader from room to room. He is good with other dogs but really prefers the attention of people. He listens well and understands basic commands but has potential to learn more.
Banana initially was anxious when alone, but after a week he is settling nicely and discovering what it's like to just be a dog. We tried crating but discovered he doesn't like a crate, and it made him very nervous. Banana does great traveling in a carrier in a car or just hanging out in the backseat. (It isn't a good idea to let your dog hang his/her head out the window. The wind, debris and insects moving across their face can cause injury and infection.)
Banana doesn't like being left outside on a leash by himself, but he does very well being supervised and sticks close by. He would be a good fit for someone who is home a lot as he is a good companion. Banana will be a fantastic companion for someone!
