I'm Janey, and I'm a tiny (for a Lab), little girl. My foster mom doesn't think I will get any bigger, but I will probably fill out a bit and gain 5 or 10 more pounds. I look like I'm still a puppy because I'm so small and have a baby face. I hear people really love puppies so I guess I'm lucky to look so cute for the rest of my life. My 3 favorite things to do are...snuggle....snuggle some more....and continue snuggling. Although I did get to go to the dog park, and BOY, did I have fun! Once I got inside the gate and realized I would be OK, I ran around the whole time and played nicely with all the other dogs. Whew. I was tired. I'm generally pretty submissive, and at first, I was a little afraid when I met my big foster brother Aengus. He wanted to play with me, but he's twice my size so I yelped a little the first couple of times, but now I'm having fun with him. I really prefer people to dogs though, except when I'm at the dog park. In the house, I like to have allllllll the attention and try to get in between other dogs and my people. My foster mom is working on that because she says I shouldn't become possessive. We're also working on what they call housebreaking. No one ever worked with me, so I didn't know you weren't supposed to do that in the house, but I'm getting it. We're also working on jumping up. I just get so excited to see people that I can't help myself. But one thing they don't have to work on is the way I take food from your hand. I make sure I take treats very gently because I would like some more. I'm also very good in the crate when I'm alone, and I sleep through the night on something they call a dog bed in my foster parents' bedroom. I really like soft beds. I never had one before so I jump from mine to Aengus' and then to Ollie's bed. Great fun! Well, time to go. I have to find someone to snuggle with.
