My name is Sage, and I am 6 years old. My owner and 2 children, ages 5 and & 7 years old, gave me to LEARN because of very hard economic times for them. My foster Mom also calls me "little bit" because of my size. You see, I have dwarfism so my legs are shorter than normal, but that doesn't slow me down at all. Everybody wants to know how old I am because I still look like a puppy, and it also makes me the perfect size for a lap dog. My favorite spot in the evenings is my foster Mom's lap while she is in the recliner reading or watching TV. Sleeping by the extra pillow on the big bed at night is another favorite spot. I am not spoiled; I just like to be where you are. Unfortunately I do have cataracts, but I can navigate inside and outside just fine. In fact, I love to be outside! There is also medication that I have to take everyday for leaking urine, but it doesn't cost very much, and it really does the trick. Ear infections have been a problem for me, but the first ingredient in the food I was eating was corn. My foster Mom said that corn is not good for me. So hopefully eating better food and keeping my ears clean will keep those infections away.
