Bo is a happy, affectionate, fun-loving guy who loves everybody. He gets along well with his four-legged foster siblings, and he came from a home with three small children under the age of three and had no problem with them. He is an active fellow who will need someone willing to play with him. Although he will settle down nicely and let you read or work on the computer when necessary, he is nearly obsessed with playing. He loves the Frisbee, but is nuts about tennis balls, of course. He also tries to convince the other dogs to play tug of war, but so far no takers. He loves the water and jumped right into our pool without hesitation. He didn’t even use the steps, just launched himself off the side. Our Golden Retriever plays fetch with him daily and they share toys nicely. Our crabby mixed breed is still getting used to him, but when she growls at him he backs down, no problem. He is still trying to win her over and today she tolerated his successful attempts to lick her muzzle as she passed by on her way to her throne, I mean couch. Bo makes no attempt to get on the furniture, by the way. He also rides very nicely in the car. We put him in the back of a station wagon and he just rested quietly in the back without climbing over the seat. He also walks beautifully on a leash and he recently enjoyed a four mile jog with my husband and both of the the other dogs. He would be a faithful running partner. His only flaw is that he tends to begin demand barking when he is bored or when you are outside with a tennis ball, but we simply ignore this behavior and he is getting much better. Bo is a sweet, active boy who will be very entertaining for someone who wants to interact with a fun-loving, friendly dog every day.
