12/13/24 Foster Dog Chronicles… Hi Frens! Amelia here! Today was a monumental day…due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control, I was in my crate for TEN hours (it’s really big, so don’t worry) & had ZERO accidents!!! As Auntie C would say, “WOO HOO!!!” You see, Auntie C had to go in to the office (Sears/Willis Tower), leaving at 6 am, & Uncle Curt left at 7:30 am, as he flew to Florida for work! By the time Auntie C got home, it was 10 hours after UC left! But, when Auntie C came home, I had SO.MUCH.ENERGY.!!! After I ate, Auntie C took me on a brisk walk! But I don’t go potty on walks. So when we came home, Auntie C tried to coax me to go. As you can see from the video, I wasn’t having it! But good news! When I’m in the house & have to go potty, I kick these bells that are hanging from the patio door! Auntie C is sooo proud of me! I also am learning so many commands! I’ve mastered “sit” and now “gimme paw.” Auntie C is still working with me on “stay,” and “down.” Whoever adopts me, will have to take me to training because I will make them sooo proud because I will be the star student! Auntie C said she has a special surprise for me tomorrow! So stay tuned! That’s it for now!! Woof Woof
Hi everyone! My name is Amelia, I’m about 10 months old, and just arrived from New Orleans, where I would’ve been put to sleep forever if it wasn’t for LEARN & these people who call themselves Uncle Curtis & Auntie C (they said that way they won’t be tempted to foster fail, if they view this as babysitting! ). I had a great first day…I quickly learned sit, & am learning to ring these bells by the patio door to go potty. Although, I did have some accidents in the house, Auntie C said that was expected, since I was found running around an airport in New Orleans. Auntie C & Uncle Curt say I’m really smart, I walk really well on a leash, & am a happy-go-lucky, curious sweetheart! I’m going to ask Santa for a family of my own, one who is active & maybe has some kids who would play with me, I think I’d like them! Well, it’s almost time for bed, nighty night! Woof woof!! |
