1/5/2023 Hi! My name is Apollo. I’m a 72lb, 2 and a half year old yellow lab (maybe a mix??). I came up to Wisconsin from Southern Illinois right before Christmas after being surrendered. Man, have I made so many new friends since I've arrived! I did really well with Christmas and New Years Eve parties. I have a lot of energy but I also enjoy a calm night of cuddles. And do I love to cuddle! I just have so much love to give. My foster mom calls me a love bug. I love to play fetch. I could chase tennis balls all day long. I love going for walks and getting all of my sniffs in. I do pretty well on the leash but sometimes I get a sniff and I can’t help but pull. My foster mom is helping me with that. I know my name really well. If you yell Apollo I’ll come running. I even know ‘sit’! I’m pretty smart. I do well with other dogs and cats per my prior owner. My foster mom doesn’t have cats so she hasn’t seen how good I can be. I do jump a bit. I just get so excited! I’d do really well with older children that can tire me out and I won’t knock over.
