Hello All. Wilson here. As you can see I'm a distinguished looking 13 year old gentleman. I was surrendered to LEARN due to family medical issues. My rear legs wobble but otherwise I can get around pretty good. Steps are a little hard but I manage 4 of them to get in and out of my foster home. I would really like to go to a home with no steps if possible. I love to look in the garbage to see what you have in there so to keep me out please have a lid on the garbage (although I can open lids) or put it out of reach when you're not around. I also like eating tissue paper and toilet paper. My foster mom has to keep the bathroom door closed. I really ride well in the car. You don't even know I'm there. I love people and when my foster mom has company I get all excited to see them. I walk very nice on lead. Even my foster mom who has problems holding onto other dogs can hold onto me. Watch for updates as my foster mom gets to know me better.
UPDATE
Got the results back for my bloodwork. Elevated liver enzymes but that's expected in an old guy like me. I like to play ball and with the kong. My foster mom had to take the ball away from me. I act like a puppy when I'm playing but I don't have the stamina like I used to. I get along good with other dogs so if you have another fur baby no problem. More updates to follow as my foster mom gets to know me better.
UPDATE
My foster mom left the bathroom door open and I found the soap. Yes, I like to eat soap along with the tissue. It was soap made with natural products so it didn't bother me. My foster mom took me in to get my nails trimmed. Julie said she saw my write up so she gave me extra special attention. I feel so much better. I saw a couple of cats there and just ignored them. They're very nosy little furry things. My foster mom says I really need to go to a home with no steps. It's a little difficult for me to get up the four steps to get into and out of the house. There was one day my foster mom had to help me up the steps. I'm not much of a snuggler but I do like to be around people. I have to keep an eye on my foster mom especially when she goes into the kitchen fridge, LOL! As you can see in one of my pictures, I like to help with the dishes. I rinse them before they're washed so they come out extra clean...
