I'm BACK!!! (3/24/2017) I had my first training class at my new foster home, and I did really well! I also showed off that I am a lap dog at heart. I came and sat right in my handler's lap! I am soft and gentle and a true love bug. I think I would like more mature fur siblings over a younger hyper one. . . . I do get a little stressed by them. But, in general, I am a good boy and will be happy to be with my people. Could that be you??? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, you may remember me. I was adopted out and then was not a very good boy. I didn't like it when someone came over, and I jumped up and sounded kinda scary. No one knew what that meant. So off to Board and Train I went! Since I have been at Board and Train (where I am now known as King Tater) I have been friendly with everyone, human or canine. I love to play outside and chase balls, but I don't really like to bring them back . . . maybe that is something I could learn with a little help from my new family. I have also learned commands much better and have shown no signs of possession issues or any other naughty behavior. I'm a good boy they tell me all day long! So if you would like to meet me I will put my best paw forward and win your heart, just give me a chance! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This sweet fellow had a bumpy transition into foster care after his beloved owner moved into an assisted living facility and could not take his trusty friend with him. Fortunately, King was scooped up by LEARN and is now available to meet his new forever family. King is medium in size with some classic Lab good looks. His "other half" is a mystery, but check out his ears, tail and paws and take a guess! Whatever his DNA, King is verifiably adorable!! An ideal home for King would include a companion who will partner with him in obedience training and help him sharpen up his skills even though he already knows many. King has nice house manners and would be fine alone or with another dog. He loves to curl up on his bed, but he'll cuddle like a lap dog, too.
