Hi Everyone! I am still here. WHY??? I am a good boy with lots of love to give. I passed all my behavioral testing with flying colors and just want a home to call my own. Please think about giving me a chance to be a part of your family. If you have another dog that I can wrestle and play tug with that would be super fun, but if not, we can do things too like going for a jog, maybe the dog park or a class that I can learn even more in.
Hello! My name is Tank. Not sure why they named me this because I am not a big guy at all. Actually I only weigh 60 pounds! I am about 5 years old and very smart. I can even do a balance beam! I came to LEARN because I was guarding my yard and nipped at people's ankles who came into it one too many times and got myself into trouble. After coming to LEARN, I went to Board and Train for 3 weeks and have become the perfect gentleman I was meant to be. I have shown no aggression or signs of being a trouble maker. LEARN thinks that being in a yard with no supervision and an invisible fence that didn't keep kids out was the issue. So I should always be supervised when I'm outside and in a yard with a fence so that people don't just wander in. At Board and Train I learned all my manners: sit, down, come, stay, heel, leave it, etc. So there is nothing basic that you will need to teach me. But I would love to keep up with some sort of training, maybe rally or different tricks. I love to learn so let's do that together! Now that I have graduated from Board and Train :), I'm part of the Retrievers and Redemption Program.
