Hi, my name is “Sydney”; I am a 1 year old yellow lab mix. I have a pretty yellow- reddish colored coat, and beautiful yellow eyes. I was found as a stray and the shelter asked LEARN to help me find my forever home.
I am a high-spirited, affectionate girl. I absolutely love all people. I follow my foster mom and dad everywhere and I am always ready to play! I love being brushed, having my belly scratched, and cuddling. I am a young, energetic lab, so my daily exercise is important. I love to go for walks; I am working on my leash etiquette with the help of a gentle leader head collar. I am crazy about the water and love to get in the bathtub and play in the hose. I am house trained, crate trained, take treats gently and know a couple of basic commands. I would love to find a family that would be willing to take me to doggy school to work on my manners and obedience training. My foster mom says I am a quick learner and eager to please.
I get along with my 2 labby foster sisters and the neighbor labs. I like to run, wrestle, and play with them. But, I tend to want to be the “boss”, play a bit rough, and I am not too “keen” on sharing toys with them. So, I will need an owner that is dedicated to my socialization training with other dogs.
