Adopted!!!

Hello, all you Lab lovers! Are you ready to have your heart taken by Storm? If so, I’m the one for you!

I am a very sweet, petite, quiet, and playful 5-6 year-old female black Lab mix who was surrendered to a shelter when my owner moved and left me behind. Thanks to LEARN, I now have a great new start on life!!

I have adjusted very nicely to life with my foster family, which includes two foster Lab brothers and two foster Lab sisters. Wow! We have quite a 5-pack. Since I’m only 41 pounds, everyone is MUCH bigger than I am, but we all get along like the best of pals. They are helping to teach me my manners and many commands.

I’m a quick learner and very eager to please my humans. Here are some of the commands I’ve already learned in my short time here: come, sit, quiet (though this is rarely needed for me), back, wait, drop, off, and easy. We’re working on loose-leash walking, and my foster parents say that I’m getting better at it every day. I love going on car rides and sit quietly in the back seat.

One of my Lab brothers is elderly and very arthritic, and I am gentle with him and respectful of his space. In the evenings, when we’re all settled after our walks, I like to sit on the floor right by my foster mom or dad and have my chest rubbed. It’s my favorite quiet time. As much as I’m enjoying my foster siblings, I’d probably be happy, too, as the only dog in my forever family. At heart, I’m just a happy little soul.

My foster dad says that I’m a perpetual puppy without the puppy problems. I’m housebroken and am doing very well with my crate-training. My foster parents tell me that I’m an absolute delight. Did I mention that I run on my tiptoes?

If you think I’m the sweet little girl who could steal your heart forever, please ask LEARN about me—Storm!
