Adopted!!!
Hi All. I’m a 3-4 month-old male named Ringo!! I pretty much have my name memorized, but hey if you whistle, I’ll come running!! My 3 brothers and I were found after those nasty storms in Wisconsin and taken to a shelter. Lucky for us, LEARN came to our rescue!
I’m having a blast in my foster home! So many new things to investigate! I love to look out the window and sniff the fresh air. I’m also learning lots of new things. My foster mom says I’m doing pretty good on potty training. We’re also working on sit, down, off, to name a few things. I am also doing great at crate training!
I love to play with my foster sister’s toys, especially the squeaky toys and the rawhide bones! My foster sister is an older gal and doesn’t mind at all cause she doesn’t play with them any more. She pretty much ignores me and most of the time, I respect her space. We both like to lay down close to each other when it is rest time! Mom says I do settle nicely in the house after I’ve had my play time.
I may aspire to be a hunter! I can spot a rabbit the minute we walk out the door; I would just love to get closer, but my foster parents don’t let me. I also saw a deer out the window one day and that was real interesting.. I just watched and didn’t bark. And, I’ve also taken to watching the humming birds at the feeder outside the window.
Oh, and did I mention I love tummy rubs!! I get this look of sheer bliss on my face when you rub my tummy. I’d lay there all day if I could get my tummy rubbed.
Since I’m just a youngster, I will benefit from some formal obedience training and continued coaching.
