Hello. My name is Penny. I am 1 years old. My owner gave me to LEARN when he had a lifestyle change. When I was about 1 year old I had a surgery for an Entropion eyelid. The edges of the eyelid turned inward, causing my lashes to rub against my eye. The doctor overcorrected the bottom lid on my left eye so it causes my eye to droop a little bit. All this stress made me a little timid, but my wonderful, loving lab personality is really starting to shine!
My golden retriever foster sister has helped me come out of my shell. We run and play together and we especially like to chase tennis balls. I almost forgot, I have 2 foster cats too. They don’t interest me much. I have some work to do on my manners, they say I can’t check out the garbage anymore. I will catch on quick because I am very smart and want to please my family.
My foster mom says I am a very sweet and affectionate girl. I am crate trained, I know sit, stay down and I come immediately when called. I like car rides and I walk nicely on a leash. I will make someone a very nice companion. My foster mom thinks my best trick is lying on her feet while we watch TV.
