If you think a LEARN dog would be a good fit in your life, please complete an adoption application. We match applicants with the appropriate dog based on our knowledge and experience. If you are interested in a specific dog, please indicate that on your application, but that does not guarantee that dog will still be available once you've completed the application process.

If you have already been approved to adopt a LEARN dog, and you are interested in me, please

Adopted!!!

I have been given the name of Peanut because that is just what I am – a little peanut! I am a lab mix and my age is about 6 – 8 months old and I only weigh 27 lbs and I am 16 inches high at the shoulder. The shelter was full so they asked L.E.A.R.N. to rescue me and find my forever family.

No one has ever taught me anything but I am learning very quickly. I learned my new name the very first day. Sit is another thing I have learned and I am working on off and wait for food and treats. Those are a little bit harder because I get excited and I am very hungry. I can’t tell you about my background but I do get along with my foster brother, that’s him behind me in one of the pictures. He doesn’t play much so I am hoping my forever family has someone to play with and to cuddle with. I just LOVE to cuddle and I am told I give the sweetest little kisses too.

Even though I am little with a bark to match I am a very good watch dog because I am very aware of all the noises that are different. I will even go to investigate what it might be. I also like watching T.V sometimes and I am a good bug catcher too. Going in the crate in the morning is not my favorite thing to do so I have to be talked into it but I am such a good girl all day long when I am there. My foster Mom calls me a little munchkin and tells me I will make somebody a wonderful addition to their family so if you are looking for a petite gal, please ask for me – Peanut.
