Hi! My name is Murphy, or at least that is what all the people around me are calling me these days. They all seem to be good people so I am starting to warm up to the name. Yep, I was found wandering one day and the good people at LEARN took me from an overcrowded humane society. I can’t wait to be adopted by my forever family.
I know a special trick. I lay on the floor thumping my tail as hard as I can , look up at you with my big eyes, and guess what… you can’t resist coming over to give me some belly rubs. If you don’t believe me come over and see it for yourself!
My foster parents have told me I am the perfect gentleman. I guess that is because I do not climb on furniture, counter surf, or play with things that are not meant for dogs. I get free roam of the house whether my foster parents are home or not – I am very trustworthy.
The vet thinks I am 7-8 years young but that is only because I have a slight vision problem. I do not always see some objects (like stairs) real well. But that only limits me for the first day until I know the layout of your house. My foster lab brother and I look forward to going for a walk each day and I absolutely think car rides are the best.
I am looking to share my love with a family that wants the perfect companion for walking and snuggling. I’ll even show you my special trick!
