Adopted!!!

Hi. My name is Lexi. I’m a 15-month old black female who is looking for a new home. My previous owner no longer wanted me, so I was lucky enough to have LEARN come to my rescue!

I am a tall, svelte girl, who has a very pretty face, as you can see by my picture. Like your typical young Labrador, I am a very energetic dog who loves to play, have fun and be active.

I am house broken, crate trained, and am quite well-behaved in the house. I am in my crate when my foster Mom leaves me alone, but I get the run of the house when she is home. At night I sleep in her bedroom on a dog bed. I am very quiet at night, and don’t even bother her to get up early.

I live with two foster sisters. One is an older Lab, and she has made it clear that she doesn’t want to be bothered by a youngster like me, so I leave her alone. My other foster sister is a 3-year old Lab, and we play together all the time. I love playing with toys, and I am good at the game humans call fetch. I also like to play keep-away with my foster sister.

Walks are always fun, and I also get to go to the dog park and run and play with other dogs. I like to meet and greet all the humans at the dog park too!

I know some basic commands, but I would benefit from an obedience class. Not only will I learn new things, it will also help establish a connection with my new family. My foster Mom says I am smart and pick things up quickly.

Since I have a lot of energy, my ideal family should like to spend time outdoors doing fun things with a dog. A fenced yard would be a bonus (but not required) since I really love to be outside and just hang out, too.
