If you think a LEARN dog would be a good fit in your life, please complete an adoption application. We match applicants with the appropriate dog based on our knowledge and experience. If you are interested in a specific dog, please indicate that on your application, but that does not guarantee that dog will still be available once you've completed the application process.

If you have already been approved to adopt a LEARN dog, and you are interested in me, please

Adopted!!!

Hi Everyone! My name is Lenny and I am an 8 month old male yellow lab! I was picked up by a local animal shelter and that’s when they called LEARN to come rescue me! The nice people at the shelter corrected my eye-my eyelid was turned inward. Ouch! I am much better now and have fully recovered.

I am crate trained when my foster parents leave but get to sleep next to their bed at night. Since coming to my foster home, I have learned a lot-I now know my own name, sit, drop, and come. My foster mom says I am an quick learner-when I want to be!

Don’t let my cuteness fool you! I am very much a very active puppy! I love running around in the yard with my three canine brother and sisters. I love wrestling with them-inside and out so I would love a home that has another canine friend for me to play with. I ride well in the car but still need some manners when walking on a leash-there is just too much to smell and see! I am working on being patient too. I get so excited when people come over that I want to jump, hug and kiss them. I am learning to not be so mouthy. My canine brother and sisters let me do it to them but my foster parents so that my mouth is for chewing on toys! It would be best if I went to a home with no small children because I don’t want to knock them down! I also am working on not digging. I love to dig in the freshly planted grass seed or flowers.

If you have the time and patience to help me learn, ask for me, Lenny!
