If you think a LEARN dog would be a good fit in your life, please complete an adoption application. We match applicants with the appropriate dog based on our knowledge and experience. If you are interested in a specific dog, please indicate that on your application, but that does not guarantee that dog will still be available once you've completed the application process.

Keller
Adopted!!!
Hello! My name is Keller. I am 4 months old, and just like my namesake, Helen Keller, I have been blind since birth. I do have all my other senses to rely on, and I do just fine without being able to see. You would never know there was anything different about me, since I run and play and cuddle just like any other pup my age.
I’m very good at learning and remembering the ways to and from things around the house. I know where everything is at my foster home now. I know where the steps are, where my food and water dish are, and where the toy box is!
Sometimes, I get a bit confused and I’ll have to spin around to get my bearings. It may take me a little while, but I always figure it out, and then I’m good to go. I have harder time inside because sound is different when it’s bouncing off of things, but once I know my surroundings I have an easier time.
I’m looking for a family who has a lot of patience and perseverance, because training me is a bit harder. I am very willing to learn new things. Just this week I learned how to sit! My foster mom is so proud of me, and I love to recieve praise and cuddling when I do something good.
If you’re the family for me, I will give you my unconditional love and absolute trust. I have so much happiness to give, and I refuse to let my blindness keep me from giving it!
