Hi Folks,
I’m Izabel, but my friends call me Izzy. I’m a beautiful and energetic 8-months-young Lab mix. We don’t know exactly what I’m mixed with because of my beautiful red coat and my long tail. I’m a tall skinny girl, although I’m trying to put on pounds since I just got over an intestinal bug I caught in the shelter before LEARN rescued me. It’s fun to put on pounds because I get to do lots of tricks for my foster parents and get lots of rewards!
I’m a bit of a tomboy and have that typical labby puppy energy so I love going exploring outside and running around at the dog beach —- I’d do it every day if you took me! I also get to go to doggy day care a few days a week. It’s lots of fun because I get to meet all the other dogs and burn off a lot of energy.
Inside the house I am great with my basic manners and am a really good listener and a really fast learner. My foster parents have already taught me how to “sit”, “down”, “shake”, and “spin”. We’re working on other tricks also. I LOVE chewing on rawhides and bones when my foster parents give them to me. If you give me a bone it will keep me occupied for hours.
So if you’ve got lots of love to give to a great little girl and are willing to take me out to play a lot I would love to meet you and be your forever dog.
