If you are interested in a specific dog, please indicate that on your application, but that does not guarantee that dog will still be available once you've completed the application process.

Adopted!!!
Hello Labbie Lovers!!!
My name is Hunter and as you can see by my photos, I am a big boy, weighing in at over 100 pounds!! I am a 6 year old purebred who is looking for his forever home. I was previously left in a barn for about seven months where once a day, someone would come and fill my dog dish up with food, and then they would leave me. I am a super dog with great manners. My foster dad nick-named me, “Licker” because I love to give you labbie kisses ALL of the time!! Consider it my way of saying, “thank you for helping me.”
I would like to tell you a story about the first time I was walked when I came into LEARN. My foster dad and I had been walking for about 30 minutes when I started to get thirsty. The neighborhood we were in, one house had just finished watering their lawn and there was excess water that had run down to the curb, just sitting there. When we were closer to the house, I was walking in a nice straight line, and then decided to veer to the right where the water was. My foster dad pulled me away from the water at first, but later we turned around so I could get a drink. When I approached the water, I crouched down like I was going to get a drink, but instead did a belly-flop in the water and made a big splash!! I crawled through the water like I was in the Army and ended up with a black belly, from all the mud. Needless to say, if there is water around, you might have a wet dog!! We came home and it was bath time!! I jumped in the tub and enjoyed all the attention I was getting. Would you like to do that for me?
My foster dad keeps me “baby-gated” in the kitchen when he is gone. The greatest thing about that is I get to check out the kitchen counters to see if anything has been left out for me. So you will have to keep things put away before you go. I walk great on a leash, I come when you call me, and ride nice in the car. What more could you want from a dog???
If you would like to see if I am the right fit for your family, give LEARN a call and ask for “Licker”…I mean, Hunter!!
