If you think a LEARN dog would be a good fit in your life, please complete an adoption application. We match applicants with the appropriate dog based on our knowledge and experience. If you are interested in a specific dog, please indicate that on your application, but that does not guarantee that dog will still be available once you've completed the application process.

If you have already been approved to adopt a LEARN dog, and you are interested in me, please

Adopted!!!

UPDATE!!!

My ears are on the mend, and I am feeling much better. I just LOVE to hang out with the humans. My foster parents tell me that I am a very sweet girl and that I will make someone a wonderful companion. Belly rubs are the best.

I live with 3 foster dogs, I have been great with them.

I love to go for walks. I get so excited at walk time I wiggle and dance. I don’t bark on our walks, even when dogs in their yards bark at us. I walk past horses, cows, dogs and I do fine. However, I will go airborne for a moth or any flying bug! Ha!! Keeps the foster parents on their toes!

I am becoming a bit more playful, I like to shake a stuffed bear and shred the big squeaky balls. Playing comes second to hanging out with the humans. I love to have company and need a reminder not to jump up and be so excited.

I don’t bark as much as when I first arrived. Only when the 2 hounds bark at a squirrel or announce company, then of course I join in. The foster parents tell me that I am a great watch dog. I do not need a crate as I am fine in the house (as long as the garbage is secure =) I am housebroken, great in the car and I like to sleep on the end of the bed or cuddle on the couch.

If you are looking for a great companion to be at your side, I’m your girl!

Hello, My name is Hulia.

My owners moved and couldn’t take their pets along. I lived with another dog and a couple of cats. So, now I am in a LEARN foster home. I have been to the vet to fix up my very sore ears. Now that my ears are healing up and I am feeling better, I’ve been eavesdropping on my foster parents when they talk about me. They say I am about 6. My foster mom calls me a goofball. Maybe because I jump around like I have springs on my feet. I LOVE to go for walks. There are 3 other dogs here. We all get harnesses on and pull my foster mom down the road. Personally, I don’t see the problem walking 4 dogs. My foster mom sometimes says otherwise.

They say I am starting to play with toys, my favorite is a squeaky ball. I love to bat it around and chew on it. My foster parents think it’s weird that I don’t fetch. Maybe I’ll do that later on. (Hey, It took them 2 weeks to figure out that I know “sit” and “shake”) I love belly rubs and keeping an eye on the humans. I follow them around as much as I can. I am so happy when they get home from work that I do a little dance.

If you are looking for a great companion, please contact LEARN and ask about me! Hulia ( it rhymes with “Julia”)
