If you are interested in a specific dog, please indicate that on your application, but that does not guarantee that dog will still be available once you've completed the application process.

Elmo
Adopted!!!
Hi, my name is Elmo. I came from a shelter to LEARN with my brother Hogan. I’m a very sweet, affectionate, 5-month-old puppy.
I live with my foster brothers and two cats. I love to play with my brothers and get along very well with other dogs. I get along with my kitty friends too, but I bark at them and chase them. My foster mom keeps telling me that they don’t want to play with me, but I’m not quite sure why they wouldn’t want to play with a cute puppy like me. Hopefully some day I’ll understand.
I also live with a toddler boy who I love to hang around with. I’m having a hard time right now figuring out which toys are mine and which are his. There are so many to choose from. I’m getting my big boy teeth too, which doesn’t help the situation. I give up what I’m not supposed to chew on, very easily, and don’t mind being given something else. I don’t nip at him or jump. I also get along very well with muppets, and you can see me below making snow angels with the “other” Elmo.
I’m working really hard on my potty training and learning how to be a good dog. It’s hard when I’m so young and full of energy. I’m told it’s a good thing because I haven’t had any accidents in the house for a long time now.
I would benefit from someone willing to give me lots of exercise and probably an obedience class or two. I’m a big puppy for my age. Right at 5 months, I already weighed 44 pounds, so I will need plenty of room to grow and run.
If I sound like the guy for you, ask for me, Elmo!!
