Hey there! My name is Duke. I am 8 years old, but you’d never know it. I still have plenty of energy and love to go for walks. I walk nicely on a leash and don’t try to drag you down the street. I could stand to lose a few pounds, so walking is very good for me.
There are lots of advantages to adopting a mature gentleman like myself. I don’t need a crate, I behave very nicely when left home alone. I get along well with other dogs, the cat that lives here, and even a rabbit. The bunny is right at eye level for me and I never try to hurt him. I know some basic commands and settle nicely in the house. Of course, I am housebroken and do not chew on stuff that isn’t mine. My foster family thinks I’m the best dog ever.
