Hello Lab Lovers!!!
My name is Dominic and I am a 2 year old young guy. I came to LEARN from a humane society. I was a stray. This means I would like a new start on life and some new friends to call my family. A little about myself, I am working on both potty training and crate training. My foster dad thinks I was an outside dog because I was very afraid to go into the house the first time I saw my temporary home. I always want to go outside whenever my foster dad stands up. When he gave me some food in it, I was not quite sure that it was for me…so I left it alone. Two days went by and the food was still there, so then I realized it was there for me. Let me tell you, now when he brings me that food dish, I do not let it sit there!!
I walk really nice on a leash, ride great in the car, and I will be by your side like a true friend. I do need reminders from adults that I go outside for the bathroom because, remember, I would rather be outside. I am getting used to being indoors because I get to sleep on a warm blanket, get clean water whenever I want to, and play with the great toys that are not allowed outside. I do live with a four-legged foster sister who lets me know the rules of the house and I do follow them with little argument. After all, I am a house guest.
